New PowerSchool parent accounts

In early August 2016 we will change the way parent/guardian accounts work on our IMSA PowerSchool system. All IMSA parents will have to register for a new PowerSchool account at that time.

• Parent accounts will become “single sign-on” meaning that you can login to one account and then view PowerSchool data for any of your children attending IMSA. Previously it was necessary to log out of one parent account and into another to do that.

• Each parent can have their own PowerSchool account (username and password). Multiple parent accounts can access the same student information in PowerSchool. Previously each student had a single associated parent account and parents had to share that account.

• Student accounts for PowerSchool are separate from parent accounts and are unchanged.
