Polyhedra and Geodesic Structures, an innovative textbook which applies spherical trigonometry to the study of polyhedra and geodesics, has been used in various forms in the classroom since Spring 1995.
A strong emphasis on hands-on construction appeals to students at all levels. Below are pictures from a few classes showing in-class work (at Quincy High School), or end-of-the-semester projects (Quincy University).
Stay tuned for updates, as Polyhedra and Geodesics will be taught at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in the Spring 2009 semester!
