BC Fast-Track, Preparation

Below you will find several handouts which are preparatory materials for the BC Fast-Track sequence. You should not only feel up to the task of solving such problems, but you should actually do so! You will need to show Dr. Condie your progress before you are enrolled in the course. Failure to do so will result in disastrous consequences.

• Download a topical review of important ideas. Some of these topics have not been covered in the MI sequence (like hyperbolic trigonoemtry). You can also download Dr. Condie's introduction to hyperbolic trigonometry.


• Download some interesting trigonometry problems.
  
  
• Download a copy of the former placement exam. While a placement exam is no longer required, you should be able to work at the level of the problems on this exam.
