Students build upon the skills developed in Russian I. Students develop greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The topical context is expanded from the student's immediate world to the world of the target culture. Topics include cuisine, geography, education, seasons, holidays, family, and character traits. Russian II students write a journal throughout the school year.
