Math Team
The IMSA Math Team competes in a variety of math contests at the state, national, and international level.
American Computer Science League (ACSL)
IMSA competes in all levels of ACSL competition, which emphasizes both computer programming and computer science theory.
Mu Alpha Theta (MAT)
Mu Alpha Theta is a national honor society for mathematics. The IMSA chapter runs math contests for students at IMSA and area middle schools. See the IMSA chapter's self-maintained webpage for more information.
High School Mathematics Contest in Modeling (HiMCM)
Run by COMAP, HiMCM is an international contest in which teams of four complete to solve real-world problems by developing mathematical models. Students must make use of their knowledge of mathematics, science, and computer science to create effective models.
North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO)
NACLO is a contest in which participants solve problems in linguistics.
Math Circle
Math Circle is IMSA's student-run math seminar series.
