Welcome to the home of Mathematics and Computer Science at IMSA!

We are an active department, teaching a wide variety of courses and coaching and sponsoring extracurricular activities.

In addition to our teaching at IMSA, the Mathematics Department also works hard to provide opportunities to students and educators across the state. Illinois students can compete in math contests hosted by IMSA (like the Junior High Mathematics Contest, the Math Kangaroo, and the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad), participate in special math classes through Excellence 2000+, or attend summer camps hosted by IMSA's Kids Institute.
