Home Library ReturnMaterials that have been checked out from any library in the state of Illinois may be returned to the lending library by filling out a blue "Home Library Return" form located at the Circulation Desk. Note: The IRC is not responsible for overdue charges accrued during transit. |
Reserve MaterialsReserve is a collection of books, videos, tests, solution manuals, laserdiscs, CDs, photocopied articles, etc. which have been put on Reserve at the Circulation Desk by faculty so that all students have access to the materials. They are listed under the teacher's name and may be checked out for in-library use only. Table Reserves are materials that have been put on Reserve for specific classes. They are located on various tables throughout the library and are listed by teacher's name and class. They may be used in the library by anyone and may not be checked out.

Interlibrary LoanThe IRC provides Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services in order to ensure that all IMSA patrons have access to books and journal articles the library does not own. No fee is charged to patrons for borrowing books through ILL services; however, lost materials are subject to costs established by the lending library. It is also necessary that all books borrowed through Interlibrary Loan be returned to the IRC in order to ensure the books are returned to the correct lending library.
