TO SEE BEYOND THE APPARENT, TO STRIVE FOR THE UNSEEN AND THE INTANGIBLE, TO EMBRACE THE VALUE OF THE IDEAL, AND TO KNOW, UNQUESTIONABLY, THAT WE ARE HERE TO WORK FOR BEAUTY...FOR THESE REASONS THIS WORK.
In looking photographically at the museum as an art form complete within itself, I hope to encourage others to look beyond the surface appearance of both art and architecture, beyond the merely physical attributes of the work, toward the transcendent value that initially directed the vision of the artist and architect.
Human creative expression is the manifestation of thought, ideals, often emotion and compassion, and it is at this level of purpose and meaning that we are invited to participate in the aesthetic experience afforded us by the profound works housed in museums thoroughout the world.
